Once upon a time, or ten years ago to be exact, in a land called California, there lived two college roommates, friends, and entrepreneurs-at-heart, Jamee Kunichika and Sherilyn (Kusuda) Luke.  

Far away from the place they called home, Hawaii, they would spend countless, sleepless nights tossing around business ideas, the highlight being an ingenious toilet-paper-cutter-dispenser (hold the laughs...we never said they were all good ideas).

Fast forward to 2005.  Jamee a licensed attorney and Sherilyn a finance manager, continued to hold their entrepreneurial spirits close to their hearts and the brainstorming continued.  

After many ideas fell off the drawing board, the idea of manufacturing their very own line of an uber-cute, liquid toilet deodorizer was born and they haven't looked back since.  With a business plan in hand, a SBA-backed loan, their company, Kstreet, LLC, named after the street in California (Kinzie Street baby!) where it all began during those college days, and of course a passion for success, Poof has become a reality.  

These past couple of years have been an unbelievable fairytale for the both of us, filled with extreme highs and lows.  Through it all, we have been there to support one another as friends and business partners, and continue to enjoy learning more and more about owning and running a small business everyday.  We have had the opportunity to travel and pitch Poof to the Oprah Show & QVC, and our hard work and perseverance has landed us a feature in an article in the August 2007 edition of Redbook Magazine (circulation 2.5 million+)!
